How LoveRadio selects and presents stations.
The listening catalogue can be broad. Pages shown to search engines and advertising systems follow a stricter quality gate based on availability, traceability and useful station information.

- Catalogue record: a station is present in the public source directory.
- Quality-qualified: the record has a working stream plus enough location, language, genre, format or source information to be useful.
- Indexable page: the page has a canonical URL, a useful description and passes the publisher-quality threshold.
- Advertising-eligible page: ads are limited to pages with original LoveRadio guidance and meaningful navigation. Account, legal and basic player-only pages are excluded.
Availability checks
Stream health is not permanent. A station may be offline for maintenance, block a territory or change its URL. LoveRadio mirrors catalogue data and checks current playability. Temporarily unhealthy streams can retain their stable profile URL, but they leave discovery and do not qualify for new search-engine publication until they recover.
Ranking and recommendations
Results are not random. The ordering combines current playability, source-directory popularity, LoveRadio qualified plays and favourites, then uses name, location and metadata as tie-breakers. Similar-station suggestions place the strongest weight on matching genres and languages; location and popularity refine the result.
Directory votes are treated as a source-directory signal, not as independently audited LoveRadio listener figures. LoveRadio play and favourite signals are kept separate.
Corrections and removals
Station operators can submit a verified source, request artwork changes, provide allowed or blocked territories and ask for removal. Rights controls are applied at request time so a withdrawn entry is not baked into a sitemap or static page.
